We do not sell your data. We use these service providers, who process it for us under contract:
- Hostinger: website hosting and email.
- WooCommerce and WooPayments (Automattic), Stripe and PayPal: checkout and payments.
- Stripe: payments for admissions packs.
- Anthropic: generates the AI Interviewer’s questions and feedback from the student’s typed or transcribed answers.
- ElevenLabs: turns the interviewer’s questions into speech and transcribes spoken answers. We do not store the audio; ElevenLabs’ standard retention applies.
- MailerLite: the newsletter.
- Google (Analytics, Ads, Customer Reviews) and Jetpack / WooCommerce Analytics (Automattic): measurement, advertising and the optional review invitation after checkout.
- Printful: making and delivering prints.
- Loom: video walkthroughs, if you buy one.
Some of these providers are in the United States. Transfers are protected by the UK data bridge, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or equivalent safeguards.
4. How long we keep it
- Order and payment records: 6 years, for tax.
- Personal statement drafts and our reviews: until 31 August after the application deadline, or sooner on request.
- Pack accounts and AI interview transcripts: while access lasts, then 12 months, unless you ask us to delete them earlier.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
5. Students under 18
Parents or guardians make purchases for students under 18. Students use their pack on their own account. We collect only what the pack needs to work, and we do not use students’ data for marketing or advertising.
6. Cookies
We use cookies that are needed for the basket, checkout and sign-in. With your consent, we also use Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies to measure visits and advertising. You can accept or refuse these cookies in the banner when you first visit, and change your choice at any time from the cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
7. Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct, delete or restrict it, to object to how we use it, or to move it to another provider. Email contact@econcoaching.com; we reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk), though we would like the chance to put it right first.
8. Changes
We will update this page if anything changes and show the date at the top.
