Cancellations and refunds

Last updated 22 October 2026. This page forms part of our terms. It sets out your rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015; nothing here takes those rights away.

How to cancel

Email contact@econcoaching.com with your order number and what you want to cancel. You can use the model cancellation form below, but you do not have to. We refund within 14 days of your cancelling (for goods, within 14 days of receiving them back), to the payment method you used.

Personal statement reviews and mock interviews (services)

• You can cancel within 14 days of the day you order, for any reason.
• If you ask us to start within those 14 days (for example, by sending your draft or booking a session), and then cancel, we refund what you paid less the value of the work already done.
• Once a service has been fully provided at your request, you can no longer cancel it.
• After the 14 days, mock interview rescheduling, missed sessions and unused hours follow section 5 of the terms.

Admissions packs and digital downloads (digital content)

Admissions packs: You can cancel within 14 days of buying a pack and we will refund you in full, whether or not you have used it.

Digital downloads such as the Guide to Personal Statements: you ask us to supply them immediately when you buy, and you lose the right to cancel once the download begins.

Prints and other goods

• You can cancel within 14 days of the day the goods are delivered. Tell us, then return the goods within 14 days of cancelling. You pay the cost of returning them.
• Personalised prints made to your specification cannot be cancelled unless they are faulty or not as described.
• We refund the price and the standard delivery cost. We may reduce the refund if the goods have been handled more than needed to inspect them.

Faulty or not as described

If anything you buy is faulty, not as described, or a service was not provided with reasonable care and skill, email us within 30 days of delivery (or as soon as you notice) with your order number and a short description, with photos for goods. We will put it right as the Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires. This is separate from, and as well as, your right to cancel.
